Born December 5, 1810 in Oneida, St Lawrence, New York.
Married Catherine Digman in 1861. He lived in Gilmour in 1891. He was buried in the Ridge cemetery September 10, 1891. He farmed for a living in the Gilmour area during his lifetime.
George and Catherine had two children, Martha and Henry Joseph.
George remarried Mary Margaret Jean Fenwick and they had a son Sydmer G. Deremo.
George again married Emily Curtis and they had nine children: Rebecca, Clark J., Clarey J., James Edson, Albert Curtis, Sarah Emmeline, Mary Marion, Louisa, and Edward.
